The ten qiraat of The Holy Quran are of prodigious significance to reciting the Quran correctly. Qirat Naafi’ Al-Madani:It is the style of qirat preserved by the Qaaris of Madinah. The preservers of this Qirat are Imam Muhammad (R.A) and Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (R.A).

Qirat Khateer Al-Makki:

It is the Makki style of reciting the Holy Quran and it was preserved by Imam Shafi and Al-Buzzi. 

Qirat Abu Amr Al-Basri:

This style of Qirat is from Basrah (Iraq) that was used by Ad-Doori and As-Soosi.

Qirat Ibn Aamir Ash-Shami:

It is the Syrian Qirat style that was preserved by two Qaaris; Ibn Zakwan and Hishaam.

Qirat Asim Al-Kufi:

This Qirat style was most popular among the people of Kufa (Iraq). The imam of imams, Imam Abu Hanifa (R. A.) used this method of Qirat.

Qirat Hamzah Al-Kufi:

Another Qirat used in Kufa, Iraq is Qirat Hamzah Al-Kufi. This Qirat was preserved by Khalaf and Khallad.

Qirat Al-Kisaa’i:

Al-Layth and Ad-Doori are the two Qaaris who used and preserved this style of Qirat in Kufa.

Qirat Abu Ja’far Al-Madanee:

This Qirat style used in Madinah was preserved by Qari Isa and Qari Sulayman.

Qirat Yaqoob ibn Al-Basri:

Ruways and Rooh are the two preservers of this Qirat in Basrah. Also, this qirat   was used by the famous imam, Imam Bukhari (R. A.).

Qirat Khalaf:

Qirat Khalaf was preserved by the Qaaris of Baghdad, Ishaq, and Idris. The proper rules about these Qiraat are added in this course. We will be focusing on correct accents, spellings, and Harakats.
